Want intel on how your talent strategies measure up? Here’s where to find it.

Several years ago, while researching ways to take a pulse on how the candidate experience was in my organization and I came across the Talent Board and the Candidate Experience (Cande’s) awards. Participating in their survey process helped me in a wide variety of ways and is a way to test that the experience you want to deliver is actually happening.

I like this program for a few key reasons:

  • It surveys rejected candidates (around 80% of the survey respondents need to be those you did not hire). I think this is a good way to measure experience. If you only survey those you hire, you are missing out on loads of feedback.

  • It is benchmarked with others in your industry, size, or region to give you a good idea of how you measure up to others.

  • It is relatively inexpensive for the data and reports that are returned to you.

  • There are awards available, and if your team is doing amazing work, it is an opportunity to get them the recognition from their peers that they deserve.

The surveys for this year are available now – and there is still time to participate. Click here to learn more.

Based on my experiences, the outcomes from this program can include:

  • Insights on where you need to improve.

  • Information to help you create a basis for the case for new technology or different tools.

  • Feedback on individuals to see if you have talent gaps or outstanding performers that need to be recognized.

  • An outside perspective that what you are doing is current in the market and working as you designed it.

So, if you are looking for a way to see if what you are doing in the candidate experience space is working, why not participate in the Talent Board’s Candidate Experience Survey and see how you measure up?
